ABOUT US

Committed to changing the face of Deaf Education, Carter Hears! strives to develop whole children through Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing (D/HH) educational services to K-12 schools in the Carolinas. The company believes that all children, specifically children with hearing loss, reach their potential in academic, social, emotional, functional, and spiritual avenues through conducive learning environments.

The team includes Teachers of the Deaf, Educational Interpreters, and Language Facilitators. Carter Hears! has developed a renowned educational model to include research and evidence-based practices and a unique language facilitator model.

The team has presented at numerous conferences, including the National AG Bell Conference, SC Council for Exceptional Children, SC Speech Language and Hearing Association, and Southeast Regional Institute on Deafness. In 2021 Carter Hears! was recognized in the top 50 Educational Companies at the Global Forum on Education and Learning and was named Employer of the Year at the Southeast Regional Institute on Deafness.

We provide educational support to public, charter, private, virtual, hybrid, and higher education institutions.
