Carter Hears!

Carter Hears! was founded in 2013 by Mariann Carter, M.Ed., M.S., EIPA 3.9, NBCT-Retired. Committed to changing the face of Deaf Education, Carter Hears! strives to develop whole children through Deaf/Hard of Hearing educational services to K-12 schools in the Southeast. The company believes that all children, specifically children with hearing loss, reach their potential in academic, social, emotional, functional, and spiritual avenues through conducive learning environments. The team includes Teachers of the Deaf, Speech-Language Pathologists, ASL Interpreters, and Language Facilitators. Carter Hears! has developed a renowned educational model to include research and evidence-based practices and a unique language facilitator model. The team has presented at numerous conferences to include the National AG Bell Conference, SC Council for Exceptional Children, SC Speech Language and Hearing Association, SERID, and Hear Indiana. Carter Hears! has been recognized nationally and globally for their work.
